Since 2013, as part of Clyde & Co global corporate responsibility programme, the team has donated money, time and above all their incredible expertise to support the work of Orbis.

Clyde & Co is a global law firm. In the UK, Clyde & Co donated to the Orbis Vision for Zambia appeal with a £10,000 donation for a piece of art during an exhibition and have donated towards our work in Sub-Saharan Africa. They have also hosted and helped to organise our Chairman’s breakfast, which provides supporters with an opportunity to receive an update on our work. In Qatar, the team has provided Orbis with their time and expertise.

Emma Higham, Partner at Clyde & Co and Orbis in the Middle East Ambassador

In 2017, Emma Higham, partner at Clyde & Co but also Orbis ambassador, travelled to visit the Orbis programmes in Bangladesh during a Flying Eye Hospital Visit, to see our work and promote awareness. Emma also travelled to Vietnam in 2019, as a Volunteer as well as attending numerous events supporting Orbis’s work.

Clyde & Co are proud to support such an incredible organization! My time with the Orbis team is always rewarding; whether on projects in Bangladesh, Johannesburg and Vietnam, in Qatar raising the “Orbis” profile and/or with the team in London. Whilst the Orbis Flying Eye hospital plane draws the crowds, it is the work done on the ground once the plane has flown elsewhere which adds real value to communities. I always leave any time I spend with Orbis feeling inspired and humbled in equal measure.
